Basquiat is one of these painters that appears to be easy to copy or imitate. Many amateur painters enjoy “painting like Basquiat”. His style has inspired many artists. This has created a need to separate what Basquiat created from the works of his many followers and imitators. The task is fascinatingly interesting.
